The pictures in this post are not of an apocalyptic zombie movie set, nor are they of some random ghost town in the middle of no where. They are pictures of what used to be the Fiesta Village located on the corner of one of the busiest intersections in Mesa (Alma School Rd. and Southern Ave.)
With Halloween right around the corner I couldn’t think of anything scarier than our current economic state and how little anyone notices it. Now I’m no economist but when an entire corner shopping center along with two restaurants sits in ruins it really puts into perspective how tough the times really are. I know that most politions are saying that everything is getting better but this corner spot isn’t the only one in Mesa gated off.
